ARCHITECTURAL APPROACH
Following its approach to revitalize urban areas by inserting mixed buildings businesses, offices and homes. The architect cultivates here the multiform approach while remaining in the traditional colors (Toucouleur, Peul and Soninké).
Beyond the neighborhood by the new trend, the architect adopts a policy of total revision of the city.
The City Council of Dakar in its accompaniment wants to offer to the population of the pedestrian streets with sidewalks released from its itinerant merchants and squatters by anarchic occupation of the urban areas.
The architect proposes in conjunction with this effort provided by the authorities an aesthetic approach combining a tendential architectural approach with a proposal for integrated businesses on the ground floor of the buildings.
Thus is definitively settled the visual disorder in Dakar (which tends to make the newcomers dizzy). This architecture is also experimental in order to develop a cultural identity through a visual reading of our future cities in Africa
